We are officially in Spring, but that doesn't seem to correspond with the weather. We woke up to it snowing, this is our street for those who have not yet visited us.... it doesn't usually come with all the snow on the cars.
Little Venice covered in snow (no, we didn't actually go to Venice, this is near where we live).
Pete ran the London Marathon on Sunday 13th of April - 42.2km, or as the English measure it 26.2miles (they really should upgrade to the metric system!). 35,000 runners and the whole race was covered with spectators. I actually didn't get to see him, I was poised with a camera at many spots, but no luck - it was almost impossible to find him. This was taken by a friend who was also watching and managed to spot him.

He ran it in 3h35m. 10mins faster than his Sydney time, so he was happy with that - and here is the medal to prove it. After Pete had a quick shower, we were off to lunch with some friends. Next we've got the Copenhagen Marathon (which we are both running) on the 18th of May. Training is well underway!
We went to Paris last weekend. Although the weather wasn't perfect, it is quite lovely in Spring and they certainly know how to put on a show with the flowers!
No explanation is needed for the next photo - a visit is never complete without a quick trip to this landmark - impressive every time.
...and Notre Dame can look particularly good in the twilight.
We did a bike tour around Paris. Unfortunately, it rained and it was a bit too full of American over-enthusiasm but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.
Ah, the nutela crepe. Our favourite! A late night stop on the way home from dinner...
Our next stop is Rome for the first May long weekend, so we'll see you for the next installment then...
